Lauren Chandler has taught plant-forward cooking through businesses, unions, and nonprofits, in public venues, and to private clients for more than two decades. She graduated from the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts but learned as much kitchen hopping around the globe and cooking in restaurants as she did in school. As an inaugural faculty in the graduate-level nutrition program at the National University of Natural Medicine, she developed and taught culinary classes for five years. Additionally, she is a recipe developer and volunteers for hunger relief organizations, including the Blanchet House, World Central Kitchen, and Providence Milwaukie Hospital Community Teaching Kitchen. Lauren's cooking emphasizes seasonal whole foods and demonstrates that you don't have to sacrifice flavor or fun to eat well.
