Our search for slimming, healthy, fiber-filled meals took us to Qdoba Mexican Grill next.
Qdoba is a lot like Chipotle. Ordering any of their items as “Naked” means you get them without the tortilla. We found that you can load up on Superfoods much better if you don't have to eventually wrap things up in a burrito.
The location we visited had a nice handout that pointed out their slimming options. We were unable to find this on their website, however, they do provide nutritional information on each of their offerings online.
Because Qdoba offers food like an assembly line and you can make your own choices at every step, the possibilities for high fiber meals are really quite high. We chose to create two different dishes.
We requested chicken, black bean corn salsa, pico, lettuce, guacamole, corn salsa and opted to use their green hot sauce instead of the ranch dressing. 440 calories, 11g fiber
We assembled brown rice, black beans, grilled veggies, corn salsa, mango salsa, pico, lettuce and guacamole and requested the tortilla on the side. 630 calories, 27g fiber
