Kale, Oat and Blueberry Smoothie

Here's a sweetly refreshing way to get in a serving of kale first thing in the morning. You won't even taste it!

1 large banana peeled, chopped, frozen
1/2 cup blueberries wild, frozen
1/2 cup almond milk or low fat milk of choice
2 tablespoons Greek yogurt no fat
1 teaspoon honey
3 tablespoons oats old fashioned, rolled
1 cup kale chopped

The night before, peel and cut up banana into 4 pieces, place in a plastic bag, and put in freezer. Rip leafy portion off the stem of 1 kale leaf, and chop. Add frozen banana, blueberries, milk and yogurt to your blender and blend on high (or use the ice setting) until the mixture becomes smooth. Add oats, chopped kale and honey. Blend until completely smooth. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

If you want, you can freeze your smoothie in 3oz paper cups with a popsicle stick in the middle. You'll have healthy popsicles for anytime you're craving some ice cream.
