Presenter Biography

Dr. Darren Morton is a leading expert in well-being and the current Director of the Lifestyle Medicine & Health Research Centre at Avondale University. He’s a Fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and the inaugural recipient of their "Change Maker" award. Darren was also one of only four people worldwide selected to write the board certification exam for the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Morton's current focus is on evidence-based methods for improving mental health and well-being, mainly through Lifestyle Medicine and Positive Psychology. This work has led to the creation of well-being programs like The Lift Project, which has engaged tens of thousands of participants across more than 50 countries. When he's not working, he enjoys outdoor activities and spending quality time with his family and friends.
